This full day workshop will allow you the time to learn some wonderful texture and resist techniques, including fun crackle tricks. We will play with some mediums and gels that you can add to your toolbox of acrylic tricks. We’ll also cover some fabulous quick transfers using waterslide decals and Gampi tissue, and you will learn how to create your own super thin collage papers that can be instantly incorporated into your multilayered artwork.

There are so many ways to work with acrylic to get amazing depth, texture and colors. I will show you how to get splendid, rich and pure colors without them getting muddy. Oops, you made a mistake. No problem, I’ll show you how to hit the Undo button. The best part is we will have time to put together a finished piece by the end of the day and you will have learned many new leveraging techniques.  You will learn how to get smooth seamless edges over collage and many more tricks and tips. Learn what those acrylic mediums are for and how to take your collages and paintings to the next level of sophistication by creating history and mystery in your work. Bring  favorite photos, papers and ephemera, all other materials are provided.
